The Story
One Love Food & Arts Market — the curated outdoor cultural market founded by Toronto entrepreneur and CityPlace resident Caron Morgan — is activating CityPlace at Canoe Landing Park for 13 dates between June 6 and August 22, 2026. The market sits at the midpoint of the City of Toronto's official pedestrian fan corridor between Union Station and BMO Field. Every fan walking to and from a match passes through One Love.
One Love is the only independent, community-built market on the entire route. It was built with and for BIPOC entrepreneurs, women-owned businesses, independent creators, and the food cultures of the world — Caribbean, West African, South Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, East Asian, and beyond — gathered in one place.
Programming is led by the City of Toronto's 2026 Team-of-the-Season recognized Drom Artist Collective, with creative direction by award-winning visual designer Benny Yip (Ultra Creative). The market is produced in collaboration with the City of Toronto and the Fort York / CityPlace BIA.
On-the-Record Quotes
“Black history is world history. This market reflects how Black culture has shaped and continues to shape our shared world.”
“The tournament comes once. The market stays forever. One Love is not a banner opportunity — it is a belonging opportunity.”
“We are the only independent community market on the entire official fan corridor. The unofficial fan zone on the official route.”
