Terms of Service

Last updated: May 5, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using onelovemarket.ca (the “Website”), submitting a vendor application, subscribing to our newsletter, or attending our events, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

The Website is operated by Birdy's Daughter Inc. (“One Love”, “we”, “us”), based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

2. About the market

One Love Food & Arts Market is an independent community market produced by Birdy's Daughter Inc. in collaboration with the City of Toronto and the Fort York / CityPlace BIA. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any official tournament organizer. References to publicly scheduled matches are informational only and may shift without notice.

3. Newsletter consent

Subscribing to our newsletter constitutes express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) to receive commercial electronic messages from us. Every message contains an unsubscribe link. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Vendor applications

Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee acceptance into the market. All applications are reviewed and curated. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of One Love. The full vendor terms (including 50% deposit on acceptance, May 23, 2026 balance deadline, May 16, 2026 cancellation cutoff, $2,000,000 CGL insurance requirement, food handler certification, propane certification, and waste/clean-up obligations) are presented in full inside the application before signature and form a binding agreement upon acceptance.

5. Event attendance

The market is free, open to all, family- and pet-friendly, and operates rain or shine. We reserve the right to modify hours, programming, or layout for safety, weather, or operational reasons. By attending you accept the inherent risks of an outdoor public gathering and agree to follow on-site staff instructions and posted rules.

One Love photographs and films the event for promotional use. By attending you consent to your image potentially appearing in our promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify a team member on-site.

6. Intellectual property

The One Love Food & Arts Market name, logo, season artwork, copy, and event concept are the property of Birdy's Daughter Inc. You may not reproduce, modify, or commercially use any of this material without prior written permission. You are welcome to share Website pages on social media in their original form.

7. Disclaimers

The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or fitness for any particular purpose. Match scheduling, lineup, vendor list, and operational details are subject to change.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Birdy's Daughter Inc., its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or attendance at our events. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you have actually paid us (which, for the Website itself and event attendance, is zero).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
